[LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA, January 14th] — The 1st Yoga Olympic Games 2021 will be organized in 210 countries. Last year, for the 2020 International Yoga Olympic Games, 60 countries participated. Athletes of all ages throughout the world are invited to join. There are 8 categories to choose from: Yoga Acrobatic, Artistic, Asana, Athletic, Choreography, Dance, Flow, and Rhythmic.
There is no cost to participate, and interested athletes simply need to fill out the participation form that accompanies the video submission. There is no restriction; anyone who loves yoga can join. Yoga lovers can submit unedited videos that are 2.5 - 3 minutes in length. All participants will receive a Certificate of Participation to commemorate their involvement and the participants who score the top three ranks will receive the Certificate of Merit from the International Yoga Olympic Committee.
The Yoga Olympic Rings consist of seven rings in seven colors. When these seven colors combine, they form white. In other words, they reach purity, innocence, wholeness, and completion. This also symbolizes the entirety of all nationalities and people all around the world. This is because the world can only reach peace and unity when all the colors of the world come together regardless of age, gender, religion, language, and race. The Yoga Olympic Games serve to unite yoga practitioners from all over the world and encourage acting together in love and peace.
International Yoga Olympic Committee (IYOC) is a non-profit organization that aims to bring all yoga lovers together through International/National Yoga Olympic Games for global peace and unity. In every country, IYOC has representatives that lead the yoga players and local Yoga Olympic organizations.
